Two things here. Firstly Sissoko. Given that the last time he got injured some of the most prominent eye-experts in the world said he wouldn't play again and then he was back in the team about three weeks later, he'll probably play on saturday  :D

Secondly Didi. He was a great player for us but the thing is at his age if you aren't playing regularly it is much harder to stay in condition. Three or four weeks on the bench would have impacted quite badly on his fitness so broadly speaking, I agree with rafa for giving him the chance to finish his career at a club where he will get regular football. Whether Zenden is the answer in terms of a replacement is entirely another matter and one which I won't go into here  :D

Zenden is the fourth choice central midfielder so he should be used as that. With Momo injured it means Stevie and Xabi in the middle with Zenden on the bench. If Rafa departs from that at the weekend then I'll be surprised.

Does anyone know how long we will be without the services of Warnock, BTW?

Liverpoolfc.tv-
Liverpool have confirmed that Momo Sissoko will be out of action for two weeks with the knee injury he sustained during last night's Champions League qualifier in Kiev.
Sissoko left the stadium on crutches and had a scan on Merseyside today which confirmed the Reds' initial diagnosis.

"Momo had a scan today which showed a tear of the medial ligament in his left knee," said Liverpool spokesman Ian Cotton.

"We do not expect him to be able to play or train for the next two weeks."

Sissoko will definitely miss this weekend's Premiership clash with West Ham United at Anfield but could be back for the derby at Goodison on September 9.

Thank f**k.. he has been super past few games.. like a new signing.. and looked like a very arkward fall :)

It's funny how people are mentioning Didi, as he's injured as well right no so he wouldn't be any use to us now would he?  :D

Sissoko should be back before the derby game.

Diao only gets a game if Lando, Judgy and st Mike are injured as well. Infact, Drummer Phil can come back out of retirement, we can fly AB over from the states and I'll stick on me old Patrick Super Keegan top's or if the grounds a bit firm, the old addidas kick's to stop that fecker getting a game.
