Okay, here's one for you. Apologies if it's been done before (but I don't think it has).
A man lives on the tenth floor of an apartment block. Every morning, the man gets up, gets ready for work, leaves his apartment, gets the lift down to the ground floor and then heads of to work. On retuning in the evening, the man takes the lift to the sixth floor. He then walks up the stairs for the rest of the way until he gets to his own floor and apartment. The man does this every day. Why?

he's too small to reach the button in the elevator for the 10th floor ??
