I've encrypted my usb drive using this tutorial.

Is that alright? What does it actually do? Something to do with protecting my files...?

So it seems Dward. But are you sure you need encryptation? There are easier software to use that just will place a password of your choosing in the volumes and folders you want, if what you want is privacy.

I find encryptation useful if you're going to send data through out the internet, but I wouldn't use it for privacy -- Just guessing and suggesting.

Im using Power Producer to make DVDs but with some of the movies its coming up all Green lines and not watchable at all??

Is it a codecs problem or something if I try to watch the film on WMP it is fine, it is only when I convert them over there is a problem.....

are you copying original movies from dvd to balnk dvd? if so its probably the copy right protection get "Any dvd" thats erases the copy rights protection, or have you dloaded a movie i find the only codecs you need are "DivX" and or "Ace mega codec pro". Ace mega codec is free just google it,

tools i use to make dvd when i have dloaded them,

codecs: Ace mega codecs, DivX and i for got to say AC3 codec.

Tools, Winavi video convertor, Winavi video joiner/splitter and DVD shrink,

the only time i use nero lol is to actualy burn the files to dvd, i never work with nero to convert or actually make dvds, it takes far to long with the tools i use listed above takes about 40 mins depending on the size it can take an hour, using nero can take upto 3 hours lmao.
