Depends what games your into mate.

I'd recommend Gears of War and Call of Duty 4 and if your into racing games you can't go wrong with PGR 4, if you like Gran Turismo then Forza 2 is also another good one.  :;):

a lot of games back in the day were harder than most games today. I remember some NES games being rock hard. It's just that back then the design of the controls and such was nowhere near as tight. I remember Battle Toads for the NES. There was a part where you had to get past this obstacle course on these jet bike things. The stuff that came at you was so fast, you had to be almost f*ckin psychic. I don't think I ever got by that part, but it stands out in my memory even today. TMNT on the NES was another b@stard of a game. Rock hard.

I sort of wish games would be more difficult today. Most are just either far too easy, or far to short.

Just got PGR4 in the post two days ago. Haven't had time to play it yet. Might give it a bash later. What's it like online?

"Assasins Creed"

anyone got it yet?

Very good game, loads of killing, but yet repetitive environment, i mean they should have added more cities to assasinate people and its the same mission (Do the assignments assigned to you and kill the person next).

The Acrobatics in it is just awesome

8/10.

I'm playing Creed at the moment and while it is repetitive (a bit like Crackdown) its awesome.

Mass effect is not as great as Oblivion, I thought the combat system was a bit weak, but the interface is awesome and the story mode is very cool.

Also, so many upgrade systems for your weapon to choose!!!

The rover or what you call it in the game is annoying, I thought it was pretty useless.

Today after long and deliberated discision makeing i parted company with my PS3 :(  because i didn't have room for two and my wife likes viva pinata :) , but i'm not mad my games will be alot cheaper and i got lots to choose from and the graphics are noticably no diffrent from the ps3's, my only gripe is the HDD drive is alot of money, but the online features are f'ckin awsome sh!te you can do lot's.

I'm gona go shopping and by me some games when i get paid next week so god times good times, cheers lads will
defo be getting the games you recomended :D

P.S sorry about the spelling

Anyone got Ace Combat 6? I've been hammering that for the last couple of days, it's pretty awesome and the battles can be really exillerating. The story's a bit on the corny side though.

Clarification please, not too clued up on patches.

I've installed a patch on Oblivion to cure some of the glitches in the game. I've continued with the game but the glitches remain. Do I have to actually restart a new game in order for the patch to work ?
