Like has been said, the season is now a case of done with. As far as im concerned I couldnt give a damn about Europe. The UEFA cup is boring to watch with boring teams playing boring defensive formations or boring diving and play acting, so like I said couldnt care less. The league, well as long as we are out of the bottom half, its more or less done with. All we can do now is wait until the end of the season, then the forum will pick up as names will be brandied about left right and centre as to who we are going to sign, and thread upon thread will pop up like "Kuyt to join..... or Ngog to join..." etc etc.

Until then though, its a case of having nothing to talk about until something worthwhile pops up to talk about.

What bemuses me is the way you guys ignore the obvious. This forum has become boring and lost many members not because the football has been bad or the owners saga, or the fact that Kenny's come back and we're winning again or because the mods are the devil incarnate.... but because the members are boring and the posts are shíte. Members were banned because they were dragging the place down not because of their positive contribution to the general enjoyment of the members and bringing them back would only have a negative affect again.

The forum has a product to offer to a wide audience, but if its not packaged in such a way to make it attractive then don't expect any takers.

I know you lads don't like criticism so I suggest you call a strike or something until this post is deleted however the reason why the forum has ground to a halt is littered in the posts of the last 12 months.

its really ironic that you're complaining about how boring the place is. scroll through the Gen Chat and you will see the posters that created most of the topics are Dundalk, Woof, and myself.

you have posters such as St Mike, Metalhead, Berm and Dundreamin putting time and effort to create match thread. SouthCoastShankly does the player ratings which are not easy at all.

posters such as Dawson, Greavesie, Bunglemark, Pablo, Ethanr, BadBob, Bav, Kash Mountain, Lakes, etc post regularly, and these posters whom i have mentioned are nowhere close boring.

you claim this forum is boring, the posts are boring but the question is, whats YOUR contribution?
