Bazza mate, edit your posts before you fall asleep in front of the computer. You already have a yellow card, God knows how many you'll get for this...

I was also told this...and I can see the point.

Christmas is a time for everyone, but mainly the little children.

My 'highlight' was always watching TOTPS on tv.
(But I'm getting a bit old for that now)   :D

And I love it if the 'Great Escape' is repeated as I never do get to see it all through.

We haven't any close relatives left so it will just be us 5.

As I'm a veggie I don't eat turkey etc.

Good job I love sprouts!!

I used to work in the civil service and my mate still does.

Apparently last year they weren't allowed to call their party the 'Christmas' party.

It was renamed the 'yuletide solstace' which is a pagan festival.
The hierarchy thought some might find the word Christmas offensive.

But, apparently, the hindus and muslims etc don't have a problem with Christmas, it's just the people at the top getting it wrong again.

Make the most of Christmas everyone.... before 'they' try to ban it.

It would surely be a great shame if ever they did.

Alright, this thread's got the built-in soundtrack (YNWA)...Great to hear, as always!

Fraid my Christmas is gonna be a glum one this year.  My Dad's not well at all and ain't gonna be getting any better.  Deffo his last so we're gonna be a solemn bunch, I fear.  Hearing YNWA helps, though.  Ta whoever's responsible. :)

Alright, I've brought this thread down enough!  The usual holiday plans are for my wife and I to head either to visit her folks in northern Wisconsin (cold as fook but the north woods around Lake Superior are a fantastic place to be at this time of year) or to visit with my parents, my aunt and uncle and cousin here in slushy Ontario.  My Aunt and Uncle just built their dream house and it is one sweet place.  The best feature is the media room with the wall-to-wall projection screen.  Watched the lads annihilate Newcastle on that beauty last Boxing Day!
