hey red - i don't really know you because i've been absent from the forum for most of the time you've been on it but i'd appreciate it if you wouldn't make sweeping statements about my character when you know nothing about my reasons for my opinions.

i know many people have had run-ins with various characters but i also think that many people fall into an obvious trap. arguments are easily avoidable and the old cliche that it takes two to tango is very very true. i actually exchanged a few decent PMs with karim in his orginal incarnation and found him to be a sound person - he had some views i didn't agree with bit then so do most of the people i know including many of my friends. he also did some stupid things back then but nothing that, in my humble opinion, warranted the outpourings of hatred that were aimed in his direction. i don't actually believe that most of the aliases coming up recently are karim in any case but he seems to be a convenient scapegoat or target for wrath from the tight knit bunch of lads and lasses on this part of the forum. i know this is a contentious topic with strongly held and very different beliefs and i don't want to fuel the fire any more so this will, i hope, be my last contribution to the issue. apart from a few unavoidably juvenile and facetious comments from time to time, of course.

I think you and lando would be good  as mods woof ( when you've got your sensible heads on ) no really don't laugh. Your two pretty level headed posters when you have a mind. I'd also put Wooly and Ciggy in there with yer. I think that would be a pretty good mod squad to add to what we already have. No prisoners taken what-so-ever.

karim: vb; to act the plank on lfc forums with a view to winding up certain members (esp. landon griffin, peewee and woofx2). to offer contrary opinions and get into spats too easily. to masquerade as any of the above.
