RIP all that have died for us
Whether we believe in what they do
They have been our sons and daughters
Without them we would be nothing
Im proud to be British

Well in Barry , Lest We Forget

They shall grow not old as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.”

Aswell as the British men and women that lost their lives for us, this is also extended to all the ANZACS as they were truly remarkable and the Gurku's of course.

RIP to anyone and everyone who helped the cause, they have my up most respect. :)

True Bam!! :)
BRITISH PASSPORTS FOR ALL GURKHAS live or dead and their wives and families!
I've read a few stories lately of retired Gurkhas that although served us cannot stay here legally!!Makes my blood boil that!
We can let all sorts of tramps and scroungers in and give them free homes but turn our backs on the brave men and women that serve this great country!
Disgusting!!

I love this it was last week..Welcome home Royal Irish Regiment from Afganistan to Belfast!!

"After the guns are silent
And after my wounds have healed
And after all these crosses
Have been planted in all these fields
And after that long boat ride
All the way across the sea
And after this train carries me

I will love you after the war
Love you for always and forever more
I will love you after the war
For always, forever and more.

After my boots dry
and my tobacco's all but gone
And after these
postcards I been
carrying
under my arm
And after I remember
all the words I couldn't say
And after this long night fades away.

I will love you after the war
Love you for always and forever more
I will love you after the war
For always, forever and more.

And after this blackbird
lifts up from off my chest
And after my soul takes its rest
My love, forgive me
I never planned to die
and love, put two pennies on my eyes."

Rest in Peace all the brave men and women who have died serving this and other Countries so that we may live free and prosperous lives unharmed by the evil powers of the World.

I salute you.

There can be no greater sacrifice than to lay down your life for your fellow countrymen, today is not about the politics of war but to remember these brave souls no longer with us.

Heroes all and we salute you, R.i.P

All the posts on here sum up what today means and there's not a lot more to add

RIP
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road
