SORRY.. I HAD TO TAKE THIS OFF DUE TO COUNCIL RULES
Our job is simple, to support the club, not just parts of the club that are easy to support, but every one who plays a part, that includes ALL players.  We are stronger when we are all walking in the same direction. Walk On

WTF is going on?

I remember some months ago that I read there was a major development in that case and that somehow proved Michael Shields was innocent. Why is he is still without freedom?

Also, I can't sign up this petitions as I'm not Brittish, could someone that follows the case closely point me out where I can protest to the Bulgarian authorities? thanks.

For the scousers on here, please don't be upset, but i have a question. I followed Micheal's story closely at the time. I think understood the generals views at the time. But most of my info came from this site and links posted on this site. For a long time now, Shield's plight hasn't been been an active topic on here, and i've only seen opinions (biased i am sure) on other supporter sites. Last i heard he was/has been transfered back to england to serve the sentence, but that may have been blocked, i dunno.

I know i can just google it, but is there any reason to doubt his innocence? bearing in mind i can accept that the trial itself was not balanced.

It's a fair question Babu , he was sent back to Britain to serve his sentence , but the lad is innocent , going on the evidence aloan , so he should not be incarcerated in a british prison let alone a Bulgarian one. Hope that clarifies the situation. :)
