Bollox ! Don't know what books you've been reading but Stalin is well documented as one of historys most evil dictators and his crimes and atrocities against his own people have in fact racked up more newsprint than any other of his ilk .

I'd go as far as saying the U.S.A with it's bullying tactics and it's bad habit of interfering in other countries politics as well as ramming their constitution down people's throats have caused 70% of the wars you have listed.

Well err, I think that war (Israel-Palestine) has been going on more or less since 1947 after the British mandate. So if you call that new then yes your right.
There has always beem tension and unreast in the middle-east and its been an ongoing war for years. Its not until heavy war like attacks take place people satrt to sit up and take notice.

Im catholic used to go to church a lot, but the night before my 21st birthday when I had a really big party organised, my mum had a supermarket, we left the shop at 6 on the way to pick up this suit Id got made, the next thing smash, bang smash. silence...............

I woke up, wheres me mum? looked theres my mum infront of my squashed to death a volvo estate had hit us, got rushed to whiston hospital, ruined a wedding that was going on in the resturant we had crashed into, the brides dresswas full of blood.

I remember waking up around 9 in that hospital wheres me mum, she's ok luv, the nurse said I went crazy, wheres my mum screamin for her I thought she was dead.

I started smoking that night Id never touched a ciggie in my life, they sadated me cause I was going ballistic for me mum, next mornin 8'o clock I got an op to remove the glass, still no mum......

Woke up around 5 loads of family round the bed,no mum where is she, she's ok girl, she's ok they where saying, I was supposed to be having this big party that night in a club, but instead I was in whiston hossie not knowing if my mum was dead or alive, my mums sister and my cousin was also in the car that night.

I carried on so much that they took me to see her, well I was glad they did, but on the other hand I didnt want to see my lovely mum this way.

She had broken her back in 7 places, it took the firemen 3 hours to cut her out, she had a fractured skull, two broken ankles and broken ribs her face was black, her arms where black, she was not my mum in that bed but she was still breathing.

The worst thing was we lived with my poor old nan who had heard about the car crash on the radio cause no family member could tell her.
The poor dear came up she wasnt a softie she was a bit of an awl hard knock me nan was, she said keep yer chin up girl, she was kissing and hugging me mum this woman had never shown any affection in her life, it broke my heart.

I came home 2 weeks later me mum stayed in hospital for 6 onths then in a wheel chair.

I know Ive rambled on to much but the moral of the story is, is there is no God, there is no Allah because if you people actually exsisted you would not put people, through so much pain, so much heatache, so many unpleasantries in life.
Your just a big kunt if you do exsist but I dont believe you do and if you do you are not god you are the Devil.

BTW Ive never stepped foot in church since our accident only when Ive had to for christenings or weddings.
So theres what I think of this religous bullsh1t.

I was thinking to myself today, I wonder if some historians did a survey on how many wars are started due to religion what the statistic would be. I haven't got a problem with people being religious, that's their choice, I just believe it does more harm than good and Darwin explained how me came about and evolved, so there is little need for religion in my eyes.

Well I'm so sorry to hear that and quite frankly, well no whole heartedly I agree with what you say about religion. Its true religion is supposed to be about peace and love etc. But in todays world it has the opposite effect
I'm not religious thank God  but I also agree if there was a God why does he let such terrible things take place on earth.

This too was the reason I queried the 'new war' thing, call me ignorant but the middle-east has always been a war-zone and TBH it gets on my nerves with these constant wars and situations, not just in the middle-east but the world in general,  its a sorry state of affairs.

Sorry you had such a horrible experience Ciggy. The truth like you say is there is no god, and religion has always been used as a weapon of war. Its easier to get people to risk their lives for Paradise/Heaven than for a dark hole in the ground. Religious fanatics fight harder and take more risks than some poor bloke who just wants to get home in one piece. Why should it matter to anyone what someone else believes in? If you want to believe in the Easter Bunny should I shoot you cos I believe in Father Christmas? The Nazi's in World War 2 had "god is with us" on their belt buckles as they were gassing the Jews,retarded,communists,gyppos etc.
           There is no god, no easter bunny, no one is going to wave a magic wand and make everything better. All we have is each other, so we should try to treat people with respect and friendship, and stop killing people just because they look, think or live their lives differently than we think they should.
