So if your asked to pick one music genre which would be you favourite? Rock? Jazz? Classical? Country? Pop?


For me its Hip Hop. I got into it when I was only 12 or 13 and it stuck. Im not into all the gangsta shite like 50 cent and stuff like that. A lot of the time when you tell people you like hip hop they think its all about cursing and shooting people! - well no

I like it for the beats and lyrics. Artists like Lupe Fiasco, Q-Tip, The Cool Kids and T.I.


I really like mixtapes as well and favourite DJ at the moment is  Statik Selektah. Still love all the old school stuff as well like all the WU stuff, Beastie Boys, Gang Starr, Biggie, EPMD and Mobb Deep


So what about the rest of you?

Hip Hop?! my worst kind of music.

My preferences has to do with Alternative music, I've been hooked on Metal as well since I was 13 years old (hence my nickname ).

Metal, Heavy Metal, Power Metal, Hard Rock, Classic Rock are my preferences.

Though I sometimes listen to House and trance if I'm in the mood.

Would find it hard to stick with just one genre of music , I find something I really like in so many different genre's, favourite however is probably rock .

I used to mad about Progressive Rock, Genesis, Jethro Tull, Emerson Lake and Palmer, Yes, etc etc.

EVERYTHING man.

i guess i cant really hold myself to one brand of music. i like all types.

BUT NONE OF THOSE STUPID SOULJA BOY, PITBULL, "MEET ME AT THE HOTEL ROOM" CLUB BULLSH*T. HELL NO.


i have no idea why mainstream radio is just so, horribly bad. plain and simple. a lot of cr.ap can fly for "music" nowadays. and i just feel sorry for the poor kid next to me on the bus bumping his head to some Yung Jizzy degenerate sh.it bound to make him even more retarded. but then again, it wasnt his fault.

its a sad world that we live in.

but if i was stranded on an island and the only thing i could bring with me was an 80 gig ipod with one genre of music, then i'd be sad.

but i wouldnt have a choice anyways so i'd probably pick some RnB or Soul.

if you wouldnt mind suggestions, i listen to lupe and the cool kids, they're great driving music    but if you like them you should really check out some Nujabes and People Under the Stairs.

listen to MF Doom too. and Common.

It changes, but at the moment I am listening to a lot of mathcore and loving it!!
