Mate thats ditto for me, ive been into hip-hop since I was 12 and a couple of weeks ago celebrated my 26th birthday. Although I have expanded into soul, jazz, funk. Spooky.

The man who came to merseyside from Newcastle, the man who says he's part of Liverpool as much as the Liver building. When he was needed Alan Kennedy was there. And with now just 8 minutes to go it could be that Alan Kennedy has made a little history.

Mos Def, Kanye West, The Roots, Masta Ace, Tribe Called Quest, Beastie Boys, Main Source, NERD, NAS, The Pharcyde, Mix Master Mike, DJ Qbert, DJ Babu, Xcutioners, 50 Cent, etc.

I've been into Hip Hop since I was about 11-12 (1990), I love the old skoll stuff like EPMD, Erick B & Rakin, Gang Starr, etc.

Hijack, pharcyde, mos def , people under the stairs, gunshot, a.t.c.q, brand nubian, Quannum, Del the funky homosapian, dj Shadow, dj Krush, Dilated Peoples, hyroglyphics, early Outkast, Artifacts. Then theres the Old Skool stuff like Ice T, NWA, Public Enemy. I could go on forever but it will do peeps heads in. The best ryming on an album for flow and lyrical content has to be Nas Illmatic, the best UK album is Hijack ( you seen how much their cd album goes for on ebay). Last few years though Ive been getting into alot of the dj and beats side of things especially Ninja tunes stuff. Im getting overexcited but I just love my beats.

BTW I didnt bother to include the 75% of stuff that you have on your list that I love but I should have mentioned that Im into most of that although I cant dig ol fiddy cent Im afraid he Wack. Also what is kayne wests album like I saw him at a jools holland show and he was tight but not sure if album was a bit commercial. I like my hip hop to retain that rough edge like in the old days.
