That's massive, and if it's not enough to curb these then the army is needed. Mind you do we have that many soldiers in this country?

I would think that if the police aren't capable of containing a bunch of kids wrecking the joint, and if there are indeed a lack of army to call on, then it would show just how weakened your armed forces are due to having them stationed abroad in places like Iraq and Afghanistan. The thing is, I've recently seen the British army over here organising for potential riots which break out almost every summer. So you have to ask the question, that if a watered down army presence in the north of Ireland can be organised, then why not in their own mainland?

At the very least, every single person caught involved in this should be made to clean up the mess, pay for and repair all the damage they have caused and have their benefits stopped if they or their parents are claiming.
