Hardly in the spirit of the competion GY,  what happened to the DD rule of making your choice before the Saturday kick off ?

What next ? Can we wait for the Monday game before we choose ?

Was happy to see someone continue the LMS thread but I'm already losing interest.

You're right Woof... Probably a good idea to set the deadline to the beginning of the first fixture every week.

I won't celebrate Rafa going........ but I will be over the moon if Dalglish comes in. League within 2 years if he gets the job, AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT.

Sorry mate, don't mind me I was just hacked off with the West Brom result.

Do think however that a possible slight advantage could be gained by those who wait until after the saturday results are in before making their choice.

I knew I should have went for Fulham.

Anyway, will I be able to pick the same club I picked in the previous game week, or I can't pick the same team twice in a row? Or will I be able to pick a single team only once, until the whole thing finishes, until I'm "the last man standing"? Sorry, I'm not too clear with the rules.

You can only pick each team once, until there is only one left at the end.  After we have a winner we all go back in and you can pick a team you previously picked.

Since both Chelsea and Reading are both playing this weekend we will not be using Wednesday's game.  This game has been moved forward on the fixture list as part of Matchday 3's round of games (I assume the Chavs are playing in the cup winners cup.  Therefore the switch)

Home team on the left

Saturday August 25th

Swansea v West Ham
Aston Villa v Everton
Manchester United v Fulham
Norwich v QPR
Southampton v Wigan
Sunderland v Reading
Spurs v West Brom
Chelsea v Newcastle

Sunday August 26th

Stoke v Arsenal
Liverpool v Manchester City

Pick any of the following and earn 1 point:

Swansea
Fulham
West Brom
Chelsea

Pick any of the following and earn 2 points:

Manchester City
Newcastle
Everton
West Ham

Pick any of the following and earn 3 points:

Reading
Stoke City
Sunderland
Arsenal

Pick any of the following and earn 4 points:

Southampton
Tottenham
Manchester United
Aston Villa
Wigan

Pick any of the following and earn 5 points

Liverpool
QPR
Norwich

All picks must be in by kickoff of the first game on Saturday.
