Maypax, you're virtually next door to Thailand, why not save a bit of cash , hop on a bus and go recce the place before making a leap ?

Don't know what your skills are but if you're just out of school/college you'll be up against thousands of local well educated college leavers who speak Thai plus other languages. Most foreigners have got jobs because of a specific skill or they know someone or they've started their own business.

Have a word with PeeWee, he lives in Bangkok.

Do some research to find a suitable job outside singapore mate.

I'm currently doing the samething mate, I'll be graduating this summer and I'm applying to London, Saudi Arabia and Dubai. The best thing is if you have any experience in what you learned it would serve you as an advantage. don't be scared to apply to all the jobs in anfieldadorer database :D

well woof is right mate, you are up agaisnt many native speakers with degrees in thailand, also regulations stipulate for your work permit you need skills that a thai doesnt have for that particular position,

that said there are positions available but generally for specific skills

look at some job agencies here mate to see what is normally available

Well I rang up and said....

"Oyy, is peewee vice president?"

And they said....

"Ohhhhhhhh no no no"

Got the wrong churchill.

Why dont you try a TEFL? (Teaching English as a Foreign Language)

I think the course isn't that long, at most a year.

You can go anywhere to teach English.
