Think it died by the end of the decade though? Never hear anyone use it now.

Geebag is a fave used in Dublin. I often hear Muppet used here as well, so it's not just a London term of endearment.

Phuckwhit is another regularly overheard in Dublin...

I read a techy forum of english people in which "moron" is used a lot. While I've read it here too, I'd say it's not a popular one by the looks of it. Perhaps it depends on the zone of England you live.
