Family Guy.... saw an episode for the first time just a cuppla months back and I reckon its the funniest cartoon I've ever seen. I've got all the Futurama series on DVD and I think that's hilarious but Family Guy, well I can't get enough of it... it is seriously funny.

i won't bother to read most of the other posts because i know the answer.
the first simpsons were among the best ever but the last ten years are
adventures - no subtlety. they rely on celebrities now.
friends went too long, as did frazier, yanks try to make money. brits go for artistic entegrity - fawlty towers, the young ones,the office,blackadder (BEST EVER) all quit ahead, okay fools and horses went on too long.
