If people want to rage against one another, that's fine by me, aslong as it's not on my door step. If the UK wants to stop terrorism on it's door step, then they should stop bullying smaller countries. If there was no forceful US foreign Policy the world would be much safer.

Who decides who intervenes? The US? If it wasn't for the Soviet Union then Americans like Malcolm X would still be present, let me guess he was a terrorist too? America are terrorists just as much as the radical "Islamists" are. Ask an innocent Iraqi who has lost his wife and children to a US bomb if he thinks the US aren't terrorists?

War is not an option and as I say, the US needs to learn and Communism will teach the US a fundamental lesson.

You really haven't got a clue mate, you have to intervene in certain areas, like Afghanistan - Iraq is a different issue. If the world conformed to your model radical islamists would dominate the middle east and procure nuclear weapons, I don't think you understand the connotations of this. If Afghanistan was left to its own devices, the Taliban would return, so would Al qaeda, what would there be to stop Pakistan or Iran leaking them the information that is necessary needed to proliferate nuclear weapons.

But your theory doesn't account for this, launching a nuclear attack on the west is ok I guess - after all as ong as they don't end up on our doorstep. 

If it doesn't affect me, my family or my friends, then I do not care. The chances of a nuke every being used again is very slim, so I wouldn't lose sleep over it.

but in answer to the initial question, yes we are under attack and should be expecting more to come. hopefully the authorities can stay on top of it, but serious thinking needs to be spent on our policies and "image" to the rest of the world if it is ever goin to stop in the long-term.

I am not confusing the situation, it is a matter of definition, i accept that homegrown means they were born and brought up in the UK, but in no way was their life assimilated into the British way of life, the only parts that were, were those that they could not avoid.

Well by the admission of close friends who by observation from the interviews I've seen seemed to give a fairly strong endorsement that they had assimilated and integrated into society like any other ethnic denomination of their age would.

They assimilate into society, they integrate into society within the bounds of their own religious beliefs and standard of their community, yet masquerade as terrorists. They are not random outcasts, they assimilate within society just as much as any other ethnic youth would do of their age, no less.

You won't find many places in the U.K. where ethnic groups integrate as much as what you would consider fully integrated and accepting of one another but within that standard - he was considered assimilated into society.

The standard of integration is lower for all muslims, it's not just reserved for those who harbour visceral terrorist urges. 

So yes, by that standard, he was very much considered assimilated and integrated into the community.

It's unfair to label all immigration as the cause of the shit going on now, but as a second generation immigrant i do believe that it is out of control. There is an element of immigrants that refuse to join in British culture, who refuse to integrate, and who live in 'enclaves' where only their language is spoken. Identify those and stop them coming in.

It is now even easier to come in to the UK, get yourself to Poland, Romania once there you can easily bribe your way to a passport, then as a member of the EU, free ride to England. I know this happen, i even e-mailed the home office.

These are not home grown terrorists, they are born, raised and live in the main, in areas densely populated with Muslims. They live in a totally alien way of life to rest of us, speaking predominatly urdu etc. Watching channels on sattelite from their parents country, and educated in Islam from mullahs who generally come from abroad, nothing home grown there.

I knew this was coming about 10 years ago when i was university, the radical muslim groups were banned each year for spouting anti semetic , then reappeared next year with another name, always banging on about how they hate the US, how the West was decadant and morally corrupt. Printing hate filled literature, and this was at University, where eduacted people were. This is not going away, look at population reports, they have very large families, what will happen when their are 6m muslims here rather than the 1.5m?

I am not saying they are all terrorists, but a huge majority sympathise, and excuse each and every attack with a 'its very bad, but if the west didn't....' 

I wish Brown pulls out Iraq and says fck the lot of you, you want us out, well out we go, all we'll see is them butcher each other for 5 years and split Iraq into 3-4 parts.
