definately no battle royale 3... and 3 extreme is good, esp the one by park (old boy director)
2046 is another good korean film about what would happen if japan sided with usa in ww2 and korea was bombed with the nuke.

I ahve seen Audition it is directed by the sam eguiy who did Ichi the Killer, Takeshi Miike, it is very good.  As you would expect it is a little weird and send a shiver down your spine.  I am always quite restrained when describing thrillers/horrors for fear of giving too much away, but for those who haven't see it, it is worth a watch.

The thai martial arts film Ong Bak, is a decent watch as well.

2046 has a hong kong director, although I maybe it was korean funded although I doubt it.  The director Wong Kar Wi has doen a few in a similar vain and keeps with pretty mucht he same cast.  The fit bird (i have forgotten her name) from house of the flying daggers and Hero is in it, and looking pretty hot.

You obviously missed me reference to "Shaolin Suckers" aka "Whores from China " . I did however neglect to mention "Whores from China parts 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,and 10 "

Well i managed to watch Oldboy last night, Fu*king top notch stuff, not many films leave me gobsmacked but this certainly did, its hard to talk about it without wanting to give to much of the story away as i watched this without knowing anything about the story.

Id heard people mention it was good but never knew what the storyline was so to just switch a film on without knowing squat about it makes a film so much better, all i can suggest is that if you havent seen it, watch it, because it will leave you stunned.

And there is quite a few scenes which arnt to pleasing on the eye for some folk (well girls really)!!!

Oldboy defo deserves a couple of these fellas

azumi is pretty class. its the old manga turned into a film type which is working really well lately.
i have some mates that prefer the american dark water and ring and grudge to the japanese versions and im sorry but thats just plain wrong.
