i just can't see the point in having this advanced forum! a forum should be a open place to discuss with others, so why do we need this restricted area? isn't that completely against the main idea of forums?

You haven't been on here long....let me explain.

A couple of months ago, it started getting very abusive on here with a few regular members just baiting each other.  Some members just come on here to post abusive threads.  Some members are abusive if somebody simply disagrees with an opinion of theirs.

Considering when I joined this forum last year; it was a great place to be, it had gone downhill.  I usually come on here every day, I left it for as long as a fortnight at one stage.

Anyway, all this culminated in a few of the older members leaving the forum to post their views on lesser forums somewhere else.

Nobody wants that, so JBG has created the advanced forum for orange users.  These users are the ones who have consistently shown the required criteria to be in there, that is the opposite of most of the things I have listed above.

Also, and don't laugh, you need to actually support Liverpool to post in the advanced forum.

Manchester United, Everton and Leeds fans have been known and are still known to post on here.  The moderators know who they are so those members need to show a more consistent approach and show they love Liverpool if they want to be a part of that forum.

I still spend most of my time in here.  It's just that there is less toleration of abuse and stupidity in there.

I'm all for a bit of stupidity.  Check this out.  I love all this.

Maybe so, but you are no supporter of Liverpool Football Club are you?  It disqualifies you immediately.
