Sometimes it's not easy for moderators to get too involved without being accused of favouritism, without being a "clink", and without dishing out cards. Sometimes the people involved in spats almost work together, gradually upping the anti, so one post in isolation can't really be carded as it's only a response to the last one. Believe me I know these things.

In the dispute between Peewee and Lando there have been some great lines and some very funny moments. The "Ladyboy Lover" is classic Lando, while the "burger flipper" is a top response. I laughed out loud at Peewee telling Rafa Dod that whatever he had done "couldn't be worse than having his hair streaked", while Lando's little jibes about fat, balding ex-pats have clearly struck a nerve and have been funny I must admit.

Now Lando in my humble opinion grossly overrates Alonso and Rafa, while to hear Peewee talk Kuyt is a Pub player and Rafa isn't fit to manage the local B & Q. Now by that, I mean no offence but they both talk utter b0ll0cks in equal measure it seems to me. That's Ok though, because it's a football forum and that's what people do.

The point of the thread is simply this. Both are valued members of the forum and it's about time we called it quits. By valued members, I don't necessarily mean that everybody likes them, but I honestly believe the forum would be the worse if either of them fecked off or got barred. You know that if we lose a match, Peewee will blame it on Rafa whereas Lando will blame it on the fact that Alonso wasn't playing, it's predictable but it kind of adds to things (they're both wrong of course, it'll be because of rotation).

Now I ask them both, let it go. Just in the last couple of days some of the insults aren't funny anymore. I think I'm right in believing I don't think I've had a problem with either of you blokes and I know I'm correct in saying I like you both as forum members. Take it from a boring old tw@t (who is thinning on top and fat, has flipped more than a couple of burgers in me time, streaked me hair and does find some of the ladyboys posted up in the pics very attractive, well before I knew they were blokes IYKWIM  ) it's time to let it go.

When you get round to reading this thread, just post up that as far as you are concerned you won't have a pop unless you're provoked etc etc and then at least everyone can calm down a bit and leave any family stuff well and truly out of it.

Err, I meant to put this up in general chat. Even a new computer doesn't I'm afraid fix the fact that I am a complete fecking numpty sometimes, so if one of the mods could shove it over it's probably be better over there as it's hardly a rumour when all said and done.

but my gripe with lando is not just the insults hurled at me, his desire to be abusive with everyone is sad and pathetic and if he stops that and stick to airing his views without such comments as f*cking idiot, retard etc then the forum can be a happier place.

he was carded for this and then given a final warning, he ignored it and as a punishment he had his cards removed, explain that one as i sure as hell can not.

the fact that he was allowed to continue meant that human nature would take over and i responded, as have other posters, but even today he is allowed to carry on when its clear that preventing the problem will be the best solution, alas it is again ignored, today he stooped as low as to accuse me of bumming 12 year old boys, again its ignored, jonnymac even posted after this so he must have read it.

sadly it seems at the moment anything goes on the forum as he was allowed to get away with it for so long, can you really blame others for doing the same, he has had a go at my family and i have responded in kind, what will happen in future is that every bit of abuse will be met in kind, this is what the mods seem to want to happen and now sadly its what they have.

this could have been nipped in the bud ages ago if it wasnt for weak moderating and dishing out toothless final warnings (no doubt i will get carded for this now just to prove it wasnt toothless) 

obvioulsy we dont see eye to eye, if it was kept personal then it wouldnt be too much of a problem, however dragging my family into this required me to respond in kind.


lando pack it in, i don't give 2 f8ckes if you don't like me, i don't care if you want to fight me, i don't care if you disbelieve me, i know what i am and what i have and your petty jealousy will never change that, however if you insult my family you will get it back, if you want to meet me when i am next in the uk, no problem then we can meet (you wont recognise me anyway as you will be looking for a fat bald bloke).

now for the good of the forum stick to pms, you have gone too far as you have been allowed to go too far, enough is enough

Lando's no doubt over stepped the line on occasions, and no doubt you have yourself as well. I'm not even talking about cards here as I haven't got the facility to dish em out anyway, I'm just saying that the way the dispute has turned over the last couple of days isn't doing anybody any cerdit.

Neither of you can control what the other person will do, but you can control what you do yourself. How about a pledge that you won't mention the other person, won't reply either in kind or in actuality, whether or not they refer to you, name call or whatever. I mean for my part, I won't get involved in Internet spats as they are pointless in my opinion. If somebody comes on here and calls me whatever they like (it has happened once or twice) I just don't get drawn into it. What's the piont FFS? For all I know the pictures people post up in the "what you look like" thread could be of somebody else entirely. For all I know, Lando is a Russian housewife, Peewee a Mexican go-go dancer and LFC a second hand car salesman from Mogadhishu. Whatever and whoever they are, chances sre that unfortunately I'm never ever going to meet 'em so what's the point in falling out?

Infact I tell a lie, if he refers to me by name or implication, I will simply reply with the statement "I refer you to my previous answer". At least that way the forum can return to normal, and people will be able to see that it's not me causing the problem".

That ought to do it, I'm not asking people to like each other, simply not to abuse each other to the level which this particular spat has descended.

Hats off to ya mick. A very respected member by all for trying to call a truce but peewee has put forward his views which are not answered. He has asked why lando has no cards and his responses to many people are very harsh (for the record, I like his responses very much when morons post ! ). Im not taking any sides in this discussion as I class both peewee and lando in the same respect. ButThey are both as stubborn as each other but both excellent posters and yet there is a case of favouritism being shown. Anyone who is neutral can see that. What annoys me is how the people like Leonmc, Bad bob, who are mods can diffuse the situation choose sides and add there two pennys worth and make this particular argument very one sided. All I ask for is fairness right across the board.

sorry mick but some things needed to be said, the mods say 'dont react, we will deal with it'. so i never reacted, the mods never dealt with it. so i pointed things out to the mods, did they sort it? no they never.

i told them that ignoring the situation will make it worse, did it get worse? yes it did. even now i am blighted by one so called moderator trying to fuel the flames rather than deal with the actual problem

i also want to make it clear that not all the mods are involved in this, there are some decent guys doing it however there are also some mods who seem to not care about it, how they can let one guy have carte blanche to offend people is beyond me

i can send you the pms i have received from certain mods mate, you can see the attitude of certain people expected to moderate this forum, they couldnt give a toss about the forum.

i suppose they think 'ah well peewee you have had a few spats over the years so its what you deserve', thats bollox, the fact is the forum is going downhill because of the actions of one poster, i know they all think i am just as guilty but the fact is i react, if there was nothing to react to then there would be no problem.


its not rocket science mate, lando dishes out abuse, people will give it back, if anyone says he is not the instigator then look back at the forum

i dont think so mate, mick has a good point and its well made, for my part however i also want to make clear how it has got to this stage,

if the abuse from lando stops then there will be no need for any retaliation, its not hard to understand.

its up to lando to stop his behaviour and if he fails to do so then its up to the mods to stop him, every thread is full of his abuse

as for pee wee and lando (and all others who are jumping on, which is silly) i say just card them whenever they start in football threads, and let them get on with it. they're adults...

i like pee wee and lando, both top dudes, but this is all going too far and an olivebranch, or even twig needs to be handed out. or ban them both. if i was a mod id ban everyone except me and 3 others...

everyone else having a go at pee wee tho, or lando if they are, are out of order. back to more bullying. let the 2 fight it out ninja style

I like both of them and at times found what has been said to be funny, but some things that have been said did go too far.

I also found the card thing a bit strange, if you get a final warningit seems it is not and if you do the same thing again nothing is done. I would not like to see any of the banned but rules are rules, and if you dont stick to them what is the point of them.

this year has NOT been a good one for this forum.
Some of the things that have been said have been nasty, I have taken some myself but if i feel it is getting too much i just stop posting for a bit.
A joke is a joke and i can take that, as you know a lot of my beef has been with LEON (lol) but i find it to be funny and so far it has not gone to far, but the lando and peewee has gone past this stage.

lets start a new year with fun in mind and keep it at that, yes this is a Liverpool forum and we would all like to talk about our team and also to post some fun stuff, but lets not get nasty over it.
