BENNY AND DIRK YOUR HAVIN A LAUGH
BENNY AND DIRK YOUR HAVIN A LAUGH,

haha Do you know what though Ben its gonna be dead funny . i remember years ago going to watch England play Republic of Ireland. Everytime of of our players who were in the England side got the ball id shout goed lad . and then when Houghton played a nice ball or done something good id shout well in Ray lad, the looks i got were killers . I can see me doing the same thing when Dirk has the ball, im absolutly made up for him, and you can imagine the banter now between all of our players in that final, when they come back,

Anyway me RED FLAG IS READY .OLE OLE

I thought playing 7 players from Barca and 3 from Madrid . really made a difference last night to how the Spanish team played, so much understanding between them, and i expect the same on Sunday

I am in Magaluf for the final Nan so it should be mad there if Spain win  :D

Seriously am easy either way, would be made up for Dirk if Holland win. He has had a brilliant tournament.
But i love watching Spain and obviously Torres and Pepe winning would be brilliant.

I cant see past Spain after watching that last night. Like LFC2007 said they are just so good in posession and the way they hunt the ball down when they lose it (like Barca) must make them so difficult to play against.
Added to that having Villa in the kind of form he is in.

Spain for me tbh.
Would love Torres to get the winner again like in the euros.

Spain have been the best team in the world over the last 4 years and deserve the title. That said, it is 50/50 who does it on the day.

I cannot believe the manager took off villa for torres though, that could have cost them if extra time was required, no wonder the players looked confused. No way Torres should be played in the final.

Alonso was class, always is, Nearly as good as Gareth Barry (apparantly!)

Hats off to Howard Webb. I, like many, have whinged about the standards of refereeing for the past year or so, but during this world cup, Howard Webb has been brilliant. The linesman also. Now, it doesnt matter that he was the referee during the Slovakia 3 v 2 Italy game (  poor Dundalk ) but we should be pleased. Our referees are bad, but looking at the others around the world, its proved one thing. We could have a lot worse !

Well it's good to see differing opponents make the final of the world cup and to be honest I don't really mind who wins. Spain play some great football and I admire the Dutch, if I had to choose I'd say I'd prefer the Dutch to win it but it doesn't matter really.

So much for European nations being on the wane hey, Germany absolutely humiliated Argentina even more so in my opinion than England. The Argies were considered one of the favourites but when they came accross a genuine quality side they failed miserabley. I have to admire the Germans because they showed some great stuff against the English and Argintinians especially and they were like a breath of fresh air in my view, they just came up too short against the Spanairds unfortunately for them. It's refreshing to see the likes of Italy and Brazil sent home early aswell, had Brazil played their more samba styled footie I wouldn't of said that as they are a delight to watch but Dunga altered their approach.
Football is a relatively simple game and Roy knows it ;)

It's all fu.cked when you have to cheer on the English referees because the national team is so bollox!!

I don't think Webb is that great a referee, sorry!
