My 5 cents.
I've seen the second half plus the highlights of the first one. Too harsh for Boro if you ask me. 4-0 and you might say that Sevilla outclassed Boro, but that's unfair.
I posted recently about Sevilla, not much because we lost 1-2 weeks ago and I was gutted due to relegation. I think I told you they're very solid defensevely. And they've shown it. Boro was just valiant, and looked for the goal everytime, the coach tried to, but he hadn't luck and Sevilla was terribly effective. They usually win 0-1, 0-2 that way, only that in a normal league game some teams stop attacking at home in order not to receive an even more embarrasing defeat. The Boro coach was valiant and he was unlucky, but Boro DID NOT deserve that, to be honest.
And yes, of course Rafa chases Navas, and Sunny Sunday (player of Poli Ejido) and Xabi Prieto and many good players: the Rafa colaborators are scouting Spanish primera and segunda week in week out. Navas is an excellent right wing player, and many voices asked him to be in the Spanish Squad, but since Joaquin played the qualification Aragones didn't consider him. A mistake if you ask me. He's class.
I slightly preffer Betis than the other Sevilla team, but today I was slightly for Sevilla, pretty much for the reasons you were for Boro.
But no, I don't think Boro was outclassed. Typical game that if Boro managed to be ahead, might have been a whole different story. But this is football.
