2-0 game is surely over?

So disappointed for Boro. They have dominated the 2nd half and they got caught on the counter attack.

4-0 ROUT.
This doesn't really bode well for englands future looking at the way boro have folded in the last 10 mins.
I know england have got better players than boro but McLaren will have some responsibility to take for this.

Anyway hard luck boro, you ran out of steam on the wrong day.

Totally outclassed in every position, Rafa was after that Daniel, and Navas.
Im filled with loads of hope with our New England manager (NOT)  :no

it sucks i really wanted boro to win . but could it be the way arsenal r going to go as well think about it both teams haven't done as well as they would of wanted this season but hav been doing well in the euro comps and arsenal could follo boro. i no it dont really make any dif but footie seems to follo these things from time to time.

Sevilla are a better team, with better players and it showed. Sevilla bossed the game, and Boro couldn't handle guys like Jesus Navas, Adriano and Daniel Alves.

The technical ability of these Spanish sides is so much higher than in England, so if Boro couldn't exert themselves physically then they were never going to win.

I see why Rafa was after Navas and Alves though, they are very good players from what I've seen tonight.

They hardly 'dominated'.  They had a really good 20 min spell of pressure and Viduka probably should of scored, but other than hat Sevilla were far better.

4-0 with 19 shots to Boro's 7 tell's it's own story.

My 5 cents.

I've seen the second half plus the highlights of the first one. Too harsh for Boro if you ask me. 4-0 and you might say  that Sevilla outclassed Boro, but that's unfair.

I posted recently about Sevilla, not much because we lost 1-2 weeks ago and I was gutted due to relegation. I think I told you they're very solid defensevely. And they've shown it. Boro was just valiant, and looked for the goal everytime, the coach tried to, but he hadn't luck and Sevilla was terribly effective. They usually win 0-1, 0-2 that way, only that in a normal league game some teams stop attacking at home in order not to receive an even more embarrasing defeat. The Boro coach was valiant and he was unlucky, but Boro DID NOT deserve that, to be honest.

And yes, of course Rafa chases Navas, and Sunny Sunday (player of Poli Ejido) and Xabi Prieto and many good players: the Rafa colaborators are scouting Spanish primera and segunda week in week out. Navas is an excellent right wing player, and many voices asked him to be in the Spanish Squad, but since Joaquin played the qualification Aragones didn't consider him. A mistake if you ask me. He's class.

I slightly preffer Betis than the other Sevilla team, but today I was slightly for Sevilla, pretty much for the reasons you were for Boro.

But no, I don't think Boro was outclassed. Typical game that if Boro managed to be ahead, might have been a whole different story. But this is football.
