Sven-Goran Eriksson hinted that England would return to 4-4-2 for their final World Cup warm-up game on Saturday.
Peter Crouch, who scored as a substitute against Hungary on Tuesday, starts up front alongside Michael Owen against Jamaica (kick-off 1400 BST).

"We will play a little bit different tomorrow from Tuesday," Eriksson told a news conference on Friday.

Gary Neville will miss the game because of a hamstring problem with Jamie Carragher likely to take his place.

Manchester United captain Neville is not expected to be a doubt for the World Cup opener against Paraguay seven days after the Jamaican game, however.

But he has been forced to sit out this game, with Eriksson confirming: "Gary Neville has a small problem with one leg so the doctor, together with me, took the decision to take him out of training.

"He will be OK on Monday, no problem."

Other than Carragher for Neville, England are expected to play the team which will face Paraguay in Frankfurt on 10 June.

Having used his World Cup Plan B against Hungary - with Michael Owen on his own up front - Eriksson suggested he would be going back to a tried and trusted 4-4-2.

"I don't want to talk about formations - but it will be maybe different from the last game," admitted the Swede.

"In those friendly games (Hungary and Jamaica) we are going to try two different ways of playing, which we are going to use during the World Cup."

David Beckham, speaking at the same news conference, admitted the players felt more comfortable in a 4-4-2 system, and Eriksson said that would be taken into consideration, "because they are the players and the ones who go out and do the work".

England (probable team): Robinson, Carragher, Cole, Terry, Ferdinand, Beckham, Lampard, Gerrard, Cole, Crouch, Owen.

Glad to se Owen score and also crouch. Crouch is gonna be on a high scoring a hat trick and for owen to play a full 90 and score is great for his fittness and confidence.

It was a decent performance from England today. The result was also expected from me as well, so the lads didn't disappoint. The Owen and Crouch partnership looks brilliant, I didn't realise it would work quite so well. I thought at times England were out muscled by Jamaica and at times out paced. I noticed on a few occasions that the defence was a bit edgy, Rio and John Terry both making mistakes which against better opposition might of turned into a goal. I also noticed how uneffective Gerrard was and it proves my point that Lampard and Gerrard can't work together. More to point Gerrard should of been allowed more oppertunities to roam up top as he is a better player than Lampard and would no doubt of given England more attacking options and a more attacking drive.

Crouch proved what a class player he is with today's performance. Some will say he did well against a limited opposition, but then I'd say you can only beat what's infront of you. Sure one of his goals could be considered an own goal and he missed a penalty but he got his hattrick to cap off a great performance of him, he's filled to the brim with confidence and that can only be a good thing with the World Cup coming up. I think he can make this World Cup his own this summer, if he can mix it up with some of the World's finest. Owen got an important goal which will boost his confidence. He got a much needed 90 minutes, which is good.
I thought Carragher had a decent game, he could well do the business should any unfortunate accident happens to Neville.

I think England will need to up their game a notch or two against the likes of Paraguay and Sweden but I'm a bit more confident after today's result, even if it was against a mediocre side. The players have proved they can work as an effective unit, they can play great football without too much hassle, all they need to do now is not let their bottle go and be consistent. Sven also needs to be less defensive, less cautious and more adventurous and attacking, obviously don't neglect the defensive duties but get the balance spot on.
