Argentina looks set to make this competition their own.

With the 1st match against Serb, 6-0, it leaves to see the gap they have set in the games.
On many occasions I seen them display exhibition football skills while having a go at the Serb's defence. Was like A HOT KNIFE tHRU BUTTER.

I like Boca's Tevez. He was all around in the attack.
There was this Greece defender that look rather solid. Can't remember name though. A quick, hard and no-nonsense player.

I hope to discover some potential and maybe watch their progress this year.

Shocking....

Iraq outplayed Portugal in a match they won 4-2! It was a real upset with that scoreline. (It shows how much a team wants to win, will win, despite political disturbances and unrest.)

Paraguay beat Japan 4-3 in a thrilling grp B clash. Good foootball between the 2 countries.

Costa Rica played to a 0-0 draw against Morrocco.

Another shocker when Italy was held 2-2 bu Ghana. Ghana went ahead against the run of play to lead 2-0. Italy snatched back the game and equalised lastly thru Gilardino. (A probable star coming through.)

It has been a great competition with the level of football at its highest. A competition many stars had not won before. The Olympics Football is a great treat to football fans.
