I'm really happy to say that this was really hard to set up, because we've been great this year, overall. But doubtless, there have been some players who just can't cut the mustard. Cisse is all pace and no skill, Nando is all skill with no pace or shooting, Garcia's frustratingly shocking when he's not astoundingly brilliant, Kromkamp is a non-entity, Josemi left and no-one cared and Traore is... well, he's Traore.

So which player do you want rid of due to performances this season? Who deserves the "golden donkey"?

Gotta agree...

Others have disappointed (Nando, Garcia to an extent), some have frustrated (Cisse, Garcia again) but only Djimi causes me concern that we're actually going to lose.

He makes everyone around him shaky and the club's improvement between last season and this one has exposed him as the stop-gap he surely was last year.  Get rid of, please!

You've hit the donkey right on the head with that one  :D .
Traore is surely the only player on the face of this planet that actually makes Biscan look like a world beater  :p . Everytime Traore is on the team sheet i feel as though we may as well give the opposition a goal start and just send the ten men out and we'd still have a better chance of keeping a clean sheet. We looked reasonably comfortable against chel$ki earlier in the season and then for no fookin' reason traore goes and fannies about on the ball and ends up givin' a penalty away and we then go to pieces.

Gerard Houllier, you brought some success to our club in your time which we'll always thank you for; you also brought some failure to our club which you ultimately payed the price for with your job. All of which is now water under the bridge - but YOU brought Djimi Traore to this great club and for that we will NEVER forgive you.   :p  :p

It has to be Josemi for me.

When he arrived, I dreamed, bombing raids up and down right midfield, crosses and what not and finally a rockhard backline.

What I saw was school-boy stuff.

Mis-clearances, slack passing, and where the hell were the bombing raids?

I didnt even notice that he had left until some weeks later.

My vote for donkey of the season obviously goes to Josemi.

By the way Ace,

Where's Pellegrino and Nunez?

I assume that you people do not go to the game if Garcia is on the list.

Also Morientes has dissapointed, but if you watch him then Donkey could not be further from the truth.

I do watch the games leon, and Garcia was put on the list because he can be incredibly frustrating for 89 minutes and amazing for 1 (which is enough imho as long as he gets the job done). He scores amazing goals, but you have to admit that on occasions he looks like he doesn't know how to play football. If you read the original post, you would have seen that I mentioned Nando with regards to his shooting and pace abilities (or lack of) and his skill was never in question. I wouldn't pick either of them for the "Bum D'Or", but some people on this forum really dislike them and may/will vote for them.

personally, my vote goes for Traore who just isn't good enough to be in the squad. He makes me very nervous and his mistakes aren't likely, they're inevitable. The weakest link without doubt.

Josemi for me. He's been hardly used.

Traore had made awful games in the past, but he's been used in the last games and fulfilled his role OK, if you allow me to say this :), so he doesn't deserve that award.

I didn't read the initial post. I have been most dissappointed with Mori (whom I voted for), but I want rid of Traore.
