Well considering we are the most successful club England has ever had .....clubs like Chelsea,Arsenal,Man utd are behind us mate,so god knows where that leaves Pompey.Even Nottingham Forest (2) and Villa (1)both European cup winners are bigger than you mate.

neverton is bigger than pompey......champion league cannot afford such a big club and play beatiful football. Maybe pompey is the second biggest club.

portsmouth is a world-class outfit. I think it is v.charitable of them to let the smaller teams like Liverpool and Man U beat them. It truly shows that sportsmanship is still alive in the game. They even got rid of their tactically astute manager, Alain Perrin to let the other clubs think they are safe from the wrath of Pompey.

Apparantly, they will be totally unstoppable when they buy world-class Panathanaikos midfielder, Igor Biscan.
