Asensio is quality. Would happily pay £60mil for him. But sure it's a ***** rumour in any case.

If he was genuine quality mate they wouldn't be trying to move him on at 22.

Kovacic is quoted as wanting to leave Madrid...could be a good signing

He is quality mate...not sure if a 60m quality probably much less but every time he got a chance he took it...

Dodgy knee or not, I'd gamble on the Fekir deal, I think it's worth it. Doesn't look like we will sign anyone now until after the world cup.

He's a great player, I'd much rather have him than Asensio, in fact I'd rather have him than Fekir tbh.

Edit - just seen that United are linked with him, that would be a kick in the balls if he goes there.

One more that caught my eye...Lozano from Mexico..super striker...

Lozano has been brilliant and he's super rapid.. he's had a good season so I can't see him being cheap these days.

Mahrez anyone? If Man City don't get him.... I hear it might fall through.

If we get, Fekir 50m, Mahrez 50m and Shaqiri 12m, then we can think about challenging for the league title next season.

We would have some great attacking options if we got that lot,  I was thinking.(in case our front three get injured etc)

If not, then it's playing for fourth place again I'm afraid.

I don't think they are trying to move him on and the rumour is most likely BS. He plays quite a bit at RM (more than Kovacic) despite the strength of their squad.

And Chelsea moved on De Bruyne and Salah at about 22. They haven't done too bad. Barcelona moved on Thiago at about 22 and he's not too shabby either!

But I doubt RM are interested in selling Asensio. He's an important part of their squad. Kovacic barely starts any games so they may let him go.

The Lyon President sounds so desperate with Fekir at the moment. The club tried offering him to a couple of premier league teams, then he said Real Madrid were interested in him..

Now all of a sudden he's been for a meal with Jose and now United want him.

He sounds so pathetic trying to get as much money as he can for Fekir by playing games .. but the reality is we probably are the only club interested still.

James Rodriguez looked great for Columbia tonight so if Fekir doesn't come there are other options out there.
I'm still hoping we sign Kovacic, that lad is made for the prem, he's like a more skilful version of Emre Can.

If Fekir doesn't sign for us, there are plenty of other options out there. Klopp is quite clever and just needs to find the right pieces to fit his "jigsaw", so to speak.

Attacking creative  midfielder, goal keeper, and back up for our strikers (like shaqiri etc) is just what we are lacking it seems, judging by last seasons exertions and the way we looked so tired at the end of the season.

A bit more quality required.
