This is rediculous game day after the game yesterday. Playing Cann 2 games in a row in 2 days with lallana etc The new lad Grutic has gone off injured which I believe he's gona be some star!! Fookin hell Klopp this is your daftest decision so far. Need a left back and another class striker cause Sturridge is on with his dodgy hip again. Keep Lucas as cover for Midfield defence.

mostly, see the team in the first post, only really Can and Origi from the starting 11, oh and probably Moreno will feature in the Arsenal match, even still we weren't good enough all over the pitch tbh

Mainz played better than us, take it on the chin I guess, at least it's a better scoreline than last time we went there and got done 5 nil

Didnt like the way their 2nd goalscorer got past Matip so easily. Matip is a big lad but that Cordoba got past him a little too easily for my liking. Still only a preseason and i dont tend to read too much into these ganes (even yesterdays game)

Awful performance, the really worrying thing was that Hendo, Can and Grujic started the game in central midfield and were completely played off the park. Hendo and Can (along with Wijnaldum) are pretty much seen as our starting CM's too.
What's plainly obvious is that our midfield isn't good enough as a stand alone unit to boss games on its own, our exiting forward line is going to have to drag the rest of the team with them a la what happened in 2013-14.
