City's goal should not have counted.. He dove in the box and completely handled the ball, it goes out wide and ends up in the back of the net! Such a blatant dive and wrapped around his hands for a full second before going out wide. How was that not called?

That's all we needed.

It's written in the stars this one guys! I can't believe that Nasri missed the sitter. Thank you Connor Wickham, I'll remember you forever if we win it.

City 6 points behind us with only 1 game in hand. We could even afford to draw with Chelsea now.

What a unexpected bonus, wasn't expecting City to drop points there, this result serves as a warning to us though, you can drop points to anyone.

great results for us, both in terms of city rivalries and league standings. but lets take that as a note of warning too. the games we have against lowly opposition are going to be just as tricky as the one against chelsea. two rubbish teams just beat (or almost beat) two excellent ones.

Sunderland winning would have completely removed City from the equation. As things stand, we can afford a draw with Chelsea if we win our other 3 games. Great result for Sunderland but taking all 3 points would have been critical because I cant see Chelsea taking 9 points from the 3 top relegation candidates (Norwich, Sunderland & Cardiff).

The Everton game should be more of a warning, since we have to play against Palace as well. I was very scared of them already.

Norwich and Palace away will not be easy games lads. Plus we will be without Henderson for 3 games and probably Sturridge for Norwich at least. That means our midfield and attack picks itself this weekend and we need to be bang on it. Forget about city, forget about Chelsea for now. This Norwich game is huge for us... especially as Chelsea could be above us by the time we play putting more pressure on.
