Except he's not a c*nt! Thats a win/win for us!

Whoa there - lets at least wait until he does something first.

Benny are you trying to insinuate that Brendan Rodgers is a c*nt  ???

No im saying there is no way on earth he should be even mentioned in footballing terms in the same breath as Maureen.

Being a ***** is a trait that seems to fill most of the top managers with nice guys nowhere to be seen.

Regarding Martinez though, anyone else here think that Dave Whelan f*cked it up for him? The guy was crass throughout and surely FSG thought sod this, and looked elsewhere.

When FSG first bought the club we all expected a young manager. Looks like they are finally getting things set up the way they want. Welcome Buck.

Very interested in who is going to be the sporting director. I don't believe we won't have one, Rodgers is just a piece in the puzzle, and I suspect that the DOF is going to be key to convincing current and potential players that we still mean business.

I look forward to our new manager to be given time and support to buy players as he grows into the role. Hopefully he gets that same support from the senior players too.

These things happen when old Davy forgets to take all his pills. He also said Alex Ferguson was retiring within twelve months. I believe if you opened up his head instead of a brain you find a note that read "back in five minutes"

No one is comparing him to Maureen Benny, he learned from the best and used Mourinho's methods to instill them in his team.

Brave appointment and set up really from FSG.

A seismic shift in club policy and strategy at Anfield.

If you cant win playing by the the same game as your opponent
then change the rules and we have in effect dont that with a new
way of working to try and close the gap.

Will it work? No one knows that, but fair play to FSG for trying.

Im going to suggest he plays football a lot better than what Maureen did - Rodgers Swansea was all about passing and flowing football - Maureens Chelsea werent.

Yes i remember mate - all the best one came through the bootroom and had a successful staff behind them - sorry but times have changed and we needed someone established with a proven track record not a massive risk like Rodgers who has no track record to suggest he can manage at Liverpool - sorry mate but im very disappointed.

Times have changed mate ,but not how aesthetically pleasing it is to watch beautiful possession football that with the right additions could make
the reds virtually unplayable once more . Rodgers at the very least will deliver a quality of football that will please us all ,and if it doesn't you're
following the  wrong sport mate .

I for one  cant wait for the man to get started.... YNWA

Unfortunatley mate playing nice football wont be enough - results is what counts and if they dont appear i fully expect the same vultures to start circling above him - he wont get 6 months before people start on him.
