wow, thats a fantastic means of putting words in my mouth Benny. You do remember I was pretty pro rafa right? I remember his whole tenure you prat

Look, rafa was great for us, I'll be the last to say otherwise but lets face it mate the last season it was misery at our club. I know he had to work with H and G, the cowboy kunts but he also has his faults as well, just because he worked with pish owners doesn't absolve him of any responsibility. Would you take FSG sacking Rafa if we had a repeat performance of last season? I'm sure FSG don't want to tie their hands and hire another former manager who is well respected

My view is any manager who is appointed should get at least two seasons.

Didn't mean to put words in your mouth just getting sick of people dismissing Rafa purely on that last season a d ignoring everything he did before

but it`s got nothing to do with finding the best manager for LFC this whole process has been about finding the best yes man for FSG.
i honestly couldnt give a sh1.te which one of these 2 gets the job and thats not bravado i just honestly dont care anymore.
the 2 of them should be nowhere near the job just like they`d be nowhere near the chelsea, united, city or arsenal jobs.

the best part of all this 'in house/behind closed doors' process is watching super "born in scotty rd lar" fans like yourself, sos, and half a dozen jug heads on rawk (one very familiar female poster)implode, haha fuchen luv it. If you cant support the club, well dont, no biggy.

glad you think it`s funny lad, the club is giving half the country a laugh at the minute.

Whilst I am usually one of the quickest to devalue FSG 's distinctly amateur hand in all this ....I am struggling to accept that either Martinez or Rodgers
( especially the latter ) are in any respect yes men .

If people are laughing and I doubt they are, now that is just media *****, then they shouldnt be.

If we have Van Gaal on our team and one from two of the best young managers in England then its a good effort
from FSG.

We will enjoy the benefit of vast experience from a guy who has managed the best clubs in the world,
plus will have a world wide network of contacts to bring in players. Alongside that a progressive
young manager who plays attractive, modern football with experience in the Premiership.

No idea why people are moaning at the prospect, and its not even come off yet, but if it does I will
be happy with that set up.

Not sure we could do much better short of Pep or Mourhino really, its a terrific combo and exiting times
ahead to see how we go.

Why keep harking on about past managers and former glories, we live in the here and the now and these
boys will be with us so lets crack on and get to work on this team and a new exciting Liverpool to
entertain us.

I think both are seen as young innovative managers who have big futures in the game .

This needs sorting out one way or another.

Dragging it on is just wasting time on targets and shipping out dead wood. I cant say im in love with the 2 front runners for the job but if they appoint one or the other then so be, just be quick about it.

I reckon FSG see that, they need us to be successful, they need us to be in the UCL, with the big money sponsorships they have with Standard Chartered and now warrior and more to come, they need us to be successful on the pitch, getting back into the mix at the top of the table or this type of big money sponsorship will disappear.
