Retires

Retired at the age of 36. Even though he was a manc, I highly admired his footballing talents and will go down as one of the great footballers England has ever had

I thought he was very professional throughout his career, the only manc that did not bother me the slightest, dirty player with his tackling yes, but a very class midfielder with his vision, passing and shooting

Horrible little evil ginger headed b@stard.

Fantastic player though and great servant to a Man U.

Like Giggs, you gotta give respect where it's due.

Solid, solid player. I see that Whiskyface is trying to get him to change his mind at 36..... shows that Ure arent ready to move forward with the youngsters - no money to spend?.

Great player but he was one of the dirtiest I've ever seen... People tried to claim that his bad tackles were because he just wasn't good at tackling.  Bull Sh!t.  He went in to hurt people most the time because he's a dirty player.  Look at how often he clears the ball of the line with his hands.  It happens multiple times a season... That's just dirty sh!t.  (Please don't bring up Suarez.. I know)

But a great player, yes he definitely was.

Now that VDS and Scholes have gone, it's time for Giggs and fergie to go.  The mancs are slowly starting to fall apart.

Completely wasted by England.  He'd have won 100 caps if he was Spanish.
