who does everyone feel should play upfront for england with michael owen. it seems that we're blessed with loads of midfielders but are short of 25+ goals a season men upfront. compare this to 1996 when we had shearer, sheringham, fowler, collymore, cole, wright etc. owen is a certainty but who would you pick to partner him? rooney will probably get the nod in euro 2004 but his goalscoring record's hardly anything to shout about and he's not an out-and -out striker anyway.

Sutton - you're 'avin a larf!

The five strikers for Euro 2004 should be Owen, Rooney, Fowler, Vassell and Defoe

Sutton - is *****
Heskey - is *****
Smith - too physical and likely to be sent off
Beattie - never really cut it at international level
Phillips - never really cut it at international level
Other - good choice for the polls but I worry about his left foot
Never buy from PC World, product quality is poor and their 'customer service' is even poorer

DEFOE IS A CLASSY PLAYER WITH LOADS OF PACE AND POTENTIAL
When you get the ball, I want you to beat a couple of men and smash the ball into the net, just the same way you used to at Bury," said Shankly. Lindsay replied: "But Boss that wasn't me, it was Bobby Kerr." Shankly turned to Bob Paisley and said: "Christ Bob, we've signed the wrong player."
