Balotelli - A'rse or not a'rse?

The Premiership - General Discussion

i think a'rse. what about you?

from a newspaper....

Mario Balotelli has been named the best young player in Europe – and has taken a swipe at Jack Wilshere, Cesc Fábregas and Wayne Rooney in the process.

The Manchester City striker won the Golden Boy trophy, organised by the Turin newspaper Tuttosport and voted for by European journalists to honour the most talented footballer under the age of 21. The 20-year-old beat the 18-year-old Wilshere into second place – and then claimed he did not even know who the Arsenal midfielder was.

"What's his name? Wil ... ? No, I don't know him, but the next time I play against Arsenal I will keep a close eye on him," Balotelli said. "Perhaps I can show him the Golden Boy trophy and remind him that I won it."

The Italy international then had a dig at previous winners of the award, including Fábregas, Rooney and Rafael van der Vaart, insisting only one past recipient could claim to be better than him. "There's only one that is a little stronger than me: Messi. All the others are behind me.

"I am delighted to receive the award, but who should have won it but me? Two years ago I finished sixth and then fourth in 2009. It was finally my turn. My aim is that this prize will transform itself into the Ballon d'Or. To have won this award is a good omen to achieve that."

Fabregas on Twitter: 'Don't worry [Jack]. We know who you are and that's what matters most. You play week in week out and that's the most important, trust me.'

Wilshere on Twitter: 'Would just like to say how honoured I am to have got 2nd place in the 'golden boy'! And like to thank everyone who voted for me! And would like to congratulate Mario Ballotelli on winning it, even if he dont no who i am! [sic] He is a top player!'

perhaps Balotelli could learn some tips from Jack on being a professional.

same mind set as doofy and an example of everything that is wrong with footballers today.
“You cannot transfer the heart and soul of Liverpool Football Club, although I am sure there are many clubs who would like to buy it.”

To do what he's done at 20, and still score tons of goals even though he 'can't be bothered to play for his team' yeah he's a hell of a player

All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

That was only due to the fact they already had 2 recognised world class strikers. Balotelli is top class imo and will go onto become world class. Torres does feck all at times too but with some players when they have the ball they make things happen themselves. Balotelli is one of those players. He was Inters wildcard last season and to be honest they suffered a bit as a result of him going.

No they didn't bav, Inter are doing really well right now, its not because they lost Balotelli, its down to management.

Balotelli is good player, who will never a top player unless he changes his attitude towards the game.
