Arsenal v chelsea - Carling cup final

The Premiership - General Discussion

Postby RichardLFC1 » Sun Feb 25, 2007 12:23 pm

Its the first piece of silverware of the season. The carling cup has never been the biggest or best cup to win but im sure any team would like to win this silverware.

Chelsea maybe without captain John Terry who is really vital for them he is solid at the back and without him chelsea could find them in some troubling positions. Ashley Cole could return to the team and what better game then to beat his former club, who slated him after him leaving them, out of the cup.

Arsenal may start with the 'Youngsters'  i.e Aliadiere, Adebayor and Theo Walcott. Who got them to this final. But chelsea wont put a weak team out where Arsene wenger could find himself in a spot of bother

I hope Chelsea win today. I hate Arsene wenger hes always moaning and the fact that 99% of his team is foreign pisses me off.

As it looks like the title is going to the mancs now, I just hope there are lots of goals, bookings and sendings off. Maybe then we can scrape second at a push and save having to play Euro qualifiers next season. I dont really care who wins, but if I had to choose one, I would want Chelsea to lose.

Deffo hoping Arsenal win.  They're not yet on the level of the Mancs in terms of rivalry but Chelsea just get on my t!ts and I certainly don't enjoy watching them collect silverware (even if it is the "Mickey Mouse" cup).  Monsieur Bean is an annoying git to be sure, but I respect what Arsenal have managed to achieve with relatively modest resources and a commitment to a youth system.  Oh, and not being English, I couldn't give a monkey's if Arsenal are almost completely comprised of foreigners! :D

Besides, losing to the Arsenal kids won't seem quite so bad if they manage to go out and beat Chelsea as well!

Walcott took his well...Drogba was about 2 yards offside, jammy cu.nt!

Arsenal have been the better team apart from about a decent 5 min spell of posession by Chelsea..some nice football being played!
Been a good 1st 45!!
