They seem to think they can keep running the price up... They sold Shay Given to city for 6 million and he was amazing at the time! Ashley is greedy as hell, he doesn't care about the club he owns he just wants to make money.

Deal done apparently at the previous reported 35m offer, supposedly they wanted it to look as if Carroll was the one pushing the deal rather than the club just trying to cash in on him.

Done deal then.

Totally overpriced, however its last minute desperation by us, if we had more time then we could have got 1 or 2 players for 35million.

Its good to see though that we have the pennies to do this though.
