The fact is, the club will not offload him, they will want to justify the 35million pricetag.

The club aren't going to offload someone they have belief in after just 19 games for the club .

You need to listen to the manager a bit more - the price tag means nothing now - only to fans who want to use it to beat the lad with

Im not sure Kenny still believes Carroll is a player we can rely on to achieve our targets. At least not this season. He definitely wont say otherwise so I dont understand you consistent quoting what he says.

Regarding your other point. You and Kenny for that matter are kidding yourselves if you honestly believe his price tag has no bearing on the level of expectations or our decisions on whether to play him or not.

Dont get me wrong, Im still behind the guy and I'm sure he'll become a decent player some day but now is not the time and its not the place for Carroll.

Because he has zero confidence currently - once he finds some form and confidence the lad will prove to be a great outlet for us

Because we have too many fans that like to act like we are chelsea and throw a player out the door if they don't instantly play like Leo Messi.

He has no confidence and people are attacking him for it.  Just like Luis, who only has 4 goals in 14 games which is an absolutely horrible ratio for a striker, everything has gone against him this year.  These things happen...

Give him a little time please... If you don't believe in him, just keep your mouths shut until the end of the year at least.

17 of those were in the championship. The same league Dean Windass tore up.

Carroll has scored 14 goals total in the top flight... 7 of which were headers from high balls.

To even name Toshack in an Andy Carroll discussion is a joke. One was a master at trapping the ball and laying it off... the other couldnt trap a bag of cement.

How would you know ?

Your last post trying to discredit anything positive Carroll has ever done just smacks of someone with an agenda against a player .

Let's be honest here.  Nobody in the team is scoring in the league.  Suarez has 4 goals in the league.  He hasn't scored since the Derby on the first of October.  We have six players with one goal.  Adam and Carroll each have a pair.  That's it.  14 games.  14 goals.  I think it's safe to say that our overall team scoring falls on other shoulders as well as Carroll's considering he's only had 8 league starts.  Give the big fella a break, this is a team problem not just problem for people to beat a 22 year old with a 35 million pound stick.

I won't celebrate Rafa going........ but I will be over the moon if Dalglish comes in. League within 2 years if he gets the job, AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT.

I have faith in Carroll but he needs to stay on his feet. It winds me up seeing a player who is meant to be offering a physical presence upfront falling down so easily. I think he will click with us but we aren't using him properly at the moment, he's always getting isolated which doesn't help. Using an expensive player just as a "battering ram" (which he currently can't do very well) is a waste. I think he will come good though I really do. He just needs his team mates to play "tighter" off him and slip him the ball back.

KK should have brought a magic wand because the expectations of some are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay over the top
"If he doesnt get top 4 he should go"
Some on here are being accused of acting like chelsea fans. I think its worse than that. Ridiculous over the top criticism of a Liverpool player who is just not clicking at the moment. Already being called sh'ite and a waste of money and open discussions of him leaving in January. Playing right into the hands of gobsh'ites up and down the country who are singing what a waste of money. Instead of laughing and saying were not arsed because we can afford it, we get Reds agreeing with these beauts. So what if he cost £35 million? Thats our business and we back KK up until he feels that Carroll needs to go. Thats what we do. Not join in with those who despise us and revel in our bickering.
Astounding comments from the supposed best and most knowledgable supporters in the world. Haha dont make me laugh. Maybe some of you should change the words to YNWA and sing "Youre sh'it, youre on your own"?

Just to remind you

Everton this season

Man city last season
