2014/15 Other Scores Significant Or Not

The Premiership - General Discussion

I love how the ref called for chelsea to make a sub on that corner, and jose said he no, he wanted to wait until after the corner. Then they score on the corner. I love it.

Great result for Swansea as well, getting the double over united this year.

Big match tomorrow, 3 points would get us right back in the mix.

Considering the rest of their fixtures they're pretty much nailed on 3rd or 4th at worst so it doesn't really matter. The mancs, the saints and spurs are the most important for us IMO.

City 1-0 up courtesy of really sloppy defensive play from Newcastle ,but it would be fantastic and the course of great satisfaction if the wheels come off Chelseas
title run and they slip up enough to let City catch them  :D

Nasri two nil ,great goal, deft first touch lovely finish

great day for us, with only Arsenal winning above us. Although City are looking good against the Toons, so I'll expect them to win too.

Just need to do the business tomorrow. Because, if we do, we'll be 2 points off 4th and 3 points off 3rd  :buttrock

Apparently United were 13 points ahead of us at one point and as 7 Kewell mentions a win tomorrow could see that gap reduced to just 2.
We have a lot of work still to do but fair dues to the manager and players for bridging such a big gap.

I agree credit where it's due, BR and the team have done well to get us up to this position, although Manu had been getting results I never thought they looked at all good, I really doubt they will make the top four at the end of the season.

Some people need drugs, alcohol or sex to make them happy. Every time Man Utd lose gives me a buzz better than any reefer, pint or fat slapper ever could. I thought appointing Moyes was a master stroke but Van Gaal could end up being even better.

Another defeat for City this time 1-0 away at Burnley, their form is the worst of the top 6, can't see them catching Chelsea and if it carries on like this they could be out of the top 4. Pellegrini won't survive this.

As much as I'd like Chelsea not to win the league its looking increasingly likely after this result. The upside could be that it drags them more into the fight (as Boocity) says above, for a top 4 finish. Being un-characteristic of me and being positive for a change, hopefully that means we can be fighting for 3 possible Champions League places now instead of two.
[b]I am and always will be in love with them...
