Houllier I thought also had suffered badly from his heart problems and needed time to recover. Sometimes you want to believe so much that you fool yourself into believing that they can turn things around.
Looking back now I can see that all the signs were there that their time was up, I just couldn't see it at the time.

I personally thought Evans was unlucky, im not saying we would have won more trophies for sure but if the league was structured how it is now in Evans time we would have played champions league football every year under him and at least we were entertained and got to watch good football. He also left when the good foreign players were coming to the league.
I wathced a repeat of the 2-2 draw at Old Trafford when Fowler scored twice today and it was actually strange to see us take on Man Utd on the there own ground at a football match, attack versus attack. Thats something we havent seen in an awful long time now.

So did you prefer that 2-2 draw to the 4-1 win at their place last season ?
All out attacking football = one point , last season defend solidly , and destroy them with pace on the break =3 points
which do you you prefer

Do you get a less of a goal if its route one ? is the ending still not the same ? Isnt the main objective to get the ball in the back of the net in anyway possible .

Actually the main point is supposedly to entertain, football now is all about results, but it is still supposed to be a spectator sport. While as a Liverpool supporter I am more interested in the result most neutrals watching the game are more interested in an entertaining game of football. And like it or not there are more neutrals watching Liverpool on TV week in week out than there are diehard fans that will watch any old rubbish as long as there is a shiny trophy at the end of it.

But under Shanks , Bob, Fagan and Kenny it was US picking up the shiny trophy at the end of the season. No point beating the mancs 10-0 if they are winning the cups and we are crying in our beer.
I would lose 4-1 to the mancs EVERY YEAR if it meant we won the league every year.
BTW You are WRONG. Kenny has the best win loss ratio with 60 odd percent.
