UEFA has awarded Dynamo Kiev a 3-0 win for last week's UEFA Champions League game against Roma which was abandoned at half-time when referee Anders Frisk was struck by a missile.

Roma will also have to play its other two group stage home games behind closed doors following the dramatic events at the Olympic Stadium. Dynamo Kiev had stunned the home fans by going ahead on 29 minutes through Goran Gavrancic, and when Roma defender Philippe Mexes was sent off for kicking Maris Verpakovskis the visitors were firmly in control going into the break.

Swedish referee Frisk was then hit by an object thrown from the crowd, leaving him with a nasty head wound, and after a 40-minute delay it was decided to abandon the game.

Mexes has been suspended for two matches following his dismissal. Roma has until midnight on Friday to appeal.
