Liverpool are such a big club, that even their "attacking problems" are worth 30M each.
have there been any developments today?

IN all honesty, we will only win league if our main players stayrelatively fit and injury free through the season. San jose, plessis, not ready yet. I like lil jay though, i can see a good player in him. Maybe, could be a fruitful season for him. He shows great purpose.
Finally, why is rafa rubbing salt into xabi's and our wounds. No need to play him for eight minutes. A little bit childish and unprofessional.

Basically Marca says Madrid has a B plan, Defour, in case the negotiations don't go to well. But that's the kind of move that doesn't help their goal, as Alonso won't be happy not to see he's REALLY important. Real Madrid asks a lot to their targets (as in, make transfer requests, say this, say that) but then lets them down in the moment of truth.
The other diary, AS, who basically writes the stuff Balague dictates them, says that there will be a meeting between Purslow and Madrid staff in the Juan Carlos I hotel in Barcelona. The best mate, if you ask me, is to wait and see. But I wouldn't say the deal is done whatsoever. Real Madrid wanted to use the transfer request and the media to try and force a situation, but Purslow doesn't seem to be affected by those moves. If they don't pay, he won't go.
