I actually think that the deal is either Sneider OR Negredo (considering both are valued by RM over £10M) - I think the journo has got his language a bit mixed up. He does say a player in exchange, not two, and I dont think RM would bid £22M in cash plus two £12M rated players. - I think its an either or situation as far as the player-ex is concerned.

Redman, bear in mind that Real Madrid have right now 31 players in the first team, and the main concern right now in Madrid is the "Operation way out". I wouldn't be that surprised that 2 players were used to lower the price, they need to offload players.

are see if you had "How its made" on you could have seen that most of the time they never have the real shirts on, they use a green or blue shirt and then the rest is done with software when the real shirts are ready, its all very clever.

yea i think you're right redman it wasnt adding up in my head either.... i'd take sneijder and look to bring in a cheaper backup forward.. maybe even VanNistelrooy from Madrid if terms can be agreed...

Looks like we are entering the end game in the Alonso drama. Unbelievable price for him if the rumours are true. (I still can't believe it!). I am not really sure about Negredo as I have never seen him play, but I would think we could use a player like Schnider. (Bit lazy, but looks like he would be able to adapt to the prem.)

It should certainly liven up what up to now has been a pretty quiet and worrying transfer window. I am sure we will make at least two more signings if the Alonso deal goes through (depending of course on who we get off Madrid in P/X.)

no in fact i just use a wireless keyboard but sometimes like now i use the same one in the bedroom and it dont always pick up every key i hit or picks up key hits too late........and sometime i just up and spell it wrong due to me to looking lol

are you talking about the 35mil that was stated last night, not sure its going to happen to tell you the truth, Real would look like they bent over for us and thats not the way they like to be seen, thats why they put their offer down and not up.

I think Rafa will stick to his guns on the price and hopefully they can decide it one way or another this weekend.

Good news that the transfer talk of Masch has finally died down. It would be tough to lose one of them, but to lsoe both would have bee a disaster.

I think anything over £25million would be an incredible price mate. The transfer market is having another of its "crazy" times, and while its probably not good for football in general, if we are going to sell Alonso, we may as well make hay.

My biggest worry with Madrid is they are very good at TALKING big money but then playing hard ball when it comes to the crunch. Seemingly this season they are more willing to actually pay over the odds or at least the going rate.

20 mil plus snjeder would be a very good deal for us i think but dont go anywhere near Van Horse - just coming off his third major knee injury and well into 30s now . would rather go for someone like carew .
