I think (and again as you put it its only my opinion) that he has handled himself with a lot of dignity during the whole saga. There seems to be bit of a problem between him and Rafa but he hasn't come out and said bad things in the press like you see other players do. He stated that the relationship was professional.

The guy wants to go back home and fancies a new challenge. Is it a case that id he dosent stay at Liverpool for the rest of his career he is to be thought bad of?

He said Alonso, now maybe you dont know what it is being a Liverpool fan, but when a player gives us 5 good years, including scoring a goal in a CL Final and we then can sell him on for a massive profit there is usually little bad feeling about him.
