I dont think Xabi deserves all this abuse tbh.. he has given us 5 years of good service and he is leaving to be in his own country in another club with good prospects.

There isnt a lot we can do about it know but say thanks for the great football and bye bye.

Real Madrid have stepped back from negotiations for Liverpool midfielder Xabi Alonso.

AS says Real have decided to withdraw from talks for ten days as they assess their market options.

Christian Purslow, the new executive director of Liverpool, is waiting for Real to make a new offer for Xabi, with manager Rafa Benitez refusing to budge from his £35 million valuation.

Real are eager to drive down the cash component and are offering several players to Benitez to consider in part-exchange.

Ignore them mate, they all have limited phrase vocab so whenever you say anything slightly negative about the club they come out with the immortal "oh you're not a proper fan" rhetoric. It's actually a pretty accurate yardstick on who are the braindead sheep on this forum.

I dont think so

And that is your opinion which I respect a lot more than you attacking other members in such a childish manner.
If El Nino and I, and I'm sure there are many others, choose to find Alonso's actions over this transfer saga sneaky and dishonourable then we are as entitled to that.
