Exactly..thts the sole reason y they ddint go allout for villa... Fools they are

And thats why the signed benzema..?? Haha idoit

Btw happy gobbling up your dads bananas.

deary me - your gonna be full of quality posts I can tell  :no

Sorry mate , johnny depp wind me upped.

Well I can agree that he is annoying but no more than you are.  :D

Ok So do people really think Xabi will get many games for RM because I really can't see it. Who they have as DM at the moment?

Actually the more I think about this I'd be more than happy with £25 million, I think we have just witnessed Xabi's best ever season and I think if he had stayed with us for one more season he would have got a prem league winners medal because I am willing to bet a lot on Barca winning the league for the next few seasons.

I also agree with Ciggy, shock horror  :D  :wwww , that Xabi will really miss the workrate of his colleagues at Liverpool. I genuinely feel that they covered up a lot of cracks in Xabi's limited repertoire and that he'll be found out a bit in big boys La Liga.

Anyway lets get this transfer done, get the dosh and go and get Villa.  :buttrock

Well we all go thru a patch where we'll be anoyying . Agree wif me there mate ...? I'm sure .

Well it will bring the best of Xabi for sure , he surely must have learnt a things or two  about tackling and being aggresive from masherano . He is surely much most tougher and can physical challeges well , expect him to boss the midfield there . Plus next season if the  pairing of lady boy and kaka works , dont' forget robben , more teams will be playing defensily and much deeper against them . Xabi Alonso would be perfectly fine at Real Madrid , but how :censored: sad for us .

Oh and he helps us with the UEFA english players quota.

:D

I think that's a good shout but in all seriousness I don't think we need a direct replacement for Alonso, we need a more attacking midfielder and I'd like to see Benny given a go in that position or maybe Lucas can finally make the step up and prove me wrong or why not give Spearing a proper run in the team. If we loose Mascha as well though we are really in the sh1t.  :sniffle

if we were able to somehow just buy the guy that shows up on the pitch, then I think it would make sense. He actually has shown that he can be effective at orchestrating from deep, and then drifts wide right when he advances, in order to get in a position to deliver his crosses, which are still amongst the most accurate in the world.  Plus he wouldn't have to play in ever game, and we could play in different styles, like you mentioned with Lucas.

Plus I think the mirror image of him and Owen would be really interesting. Leaving their clubs for Madrid, then going somewhere else and then to their former club's biggest rival.

THen you consider how motivated he is going to play this year because of how desperate he is to play in the world cup, and you still think it sounds crazy, but maybe its crazy like a fox  :D

Adding to that he did play really well when he was with Milan last season...  :D

Joe im sorry but what have you been on Beckham at Liverpool , Jesus wed become a circus mate, im sorry but if Rafa went an got Beckham as a short term or even a weeks replacement for Xabi , id call the men in the white coats mate to take him away,

I actualy agree with Igor i can see Lucas stepping up , when the crowd wernt on his back last season the lad played some good football. i still remember that ball he played i think it was against Newcastle, feckinhell, drooling, The boss an the backromm lads must see something so maybe it is time that he got his chance,

£30 million and he can p1ss off wherever he wants too for all I care.

This whole gent and model professional does NOT apply any more though, he could and should have been upfront from the very start of this transfer season, it would have saved the club and fans a lot of grief, all this sneaky sh1t p1sses me off and he is now way off my favourite player list if he was ever on it.

This is what will happen though, he'll go to Real Madrid for about £25 million, play about 10 matches, then spend the next 2 seasons on the bench before being sold to Fulham or a similar team.

Anyway thanks for the good matches Xabi, wish someone had taught you how to attack and shoot a football but the passing and vision were top class, sorry it had to end like this.

? Are you saying the pound is weaker now to the euro compared to January or is there something else you disagree with, even for you that was a short and uninformative post.

The constant slagging off of xabi when he guy has not said a word and done nothing but be professional for us throughout his whole career with us - even when we were trying to flog him off . Also the fact that if he goes he will only play a handful of games and then go to fulham ?!?!? he would be a constant starter for madrid and a main player for them just like he is for the very successful current spanish team .

As bob asked has Xabi kicked you in the nuts lately or something to trigger this constant slating off him .

Explain to me how Alonso, after weeks and weeks of speculation, only now admitting to wanting a move is professional and honest please because I really don't get that bit, that is what is annoying me and it should be annoying you guys as well because it means he is costing us money but I guess that is all ok isn't it.

Tony Evans said last night that the situation will be sorted out by the end of the week, Rafa will also make 1 signing by next week presumbly before we fly out to Asia, this new player is not Alonso's replacement.

So here we have Rafa's two mouthpieces Tony Barrett & Tony Evans telling us whats happening.

why would I have slagged HIM off last year, I recall slagging off Rafa for trying to sell him for such a cheap price though.

Anyway GYBS I think it is quite clear that he is off and he has only made this known very recently, he should have been upfront from the start.
