I think the Ronaldo´s deal is a great blow for the Premier League, he is an icon of the english football.
La Liga could be up to the same standard as the Premiership with this singing and kaká´s.
Now probably United will sign Tevez and Valencia from Wigan.

Good...I'm sick of the hype and it would benefit the game to have a resurgent Spanish League vying for the paper title of "best league in the world."  What I'm most pleased with, though, is not having to watch Ronaldo act a complete tw.at every week nor listen to announces purr over his every move.  Spain can fecking have the little mincer.   :p

True.  We can only hope they go the Veron route with the money (or the Berbatov, Nani, Anderson, Hargreaves, Carrick, Djemba Djemba route...) :D

Negredo fancies Liverpool move, as Real close on Xabi

Real Madrid are ready to offer Liverpool £30million plus two young strikers to prise Xabi Alonso away from Liverpool.

New Real president Florentino Perez, with Kaka and now Cristiano Ronaldo seemingly captured, has turned his attention to Spain midfielder Alonso.

Liverpool transfer news and speculation

Despite Benitez's continued insistence the player is not for sale, it is thought he would consider £30m plus young Spanish strikers Alvaro Negredo and Alberto Bueno in exchange for Alonso.

To be honest I think if we get offered that I would take it. We could bring in some real quality as well as have 2 promising players.

Rafa must be hard with Madrid, they need a creative midfielder above everything because Gago is cr.ap.

Well if it's true they will also promise not to bid for Silva then maybe we can go for him?

I don't want Saviola, he was a very good young player but that was a long time ago. If we are to lose Alonso we should be fighting to get a first team player rather than accepting a squad player.

30 million plus negredo and bueno (isnt that a chocolate bar?)
Never seen either of them play so cant comment but surely if the striker is valued at around 10 million then he is half decent. And even if he isnt what we would have wanted them he would have decent sell on value.

I dont want to lose Alonso but if the money starts getting stupid and his heart is not in it anyway, then we will have to consider it at the least.
