I just got Trails HD there on the 360. Reminds me of the days when games used to be simple, addictive, and frustrating as f*ck, but kept drawing you back for more.

The best game I had ever played up till now was Arkham Asylum....now Im not so sure I cant piuck between the two, which was better. If anyone aint got AC2 go and buy it!!Its quality!! :buttrock

Next for me is an old on called Bioshock...read a load of reviews and many say its the best Xbox 360 game ever made...picked it up for £6 second hand(maybe 3rd or 4th hand) for all I know!
Hope its as good as they say!

that sir, is a GOOD game.

for $6 you just picked up a game that is definitely a keeper. i could play that game for hours on end. and like in fallout 3, the karmic path you choose can lead to numerous possibilities. dependent on the outcome of your choices, you may be tempted to spin the disc again once you're done, just to see how it would look like from the other side.  :)

dont even get me started on the plasmids and the mini pipe dream puzzles.

Cheers mate...its certainly different and totally bizarre! For such an early game the graphics and the way they put the lighting together with what happens is amazing.
Im still a bit out on the gameplay and story as its..well not like anything else out there I have played.
Just getting into it really and at that "not sure" stage...but I wanna know more and will play it more tomorrow!

I think the thing that stood out about Bioshock was it's narrative and artistic direction. When those things are stripped away from it, it's basically a linear generic FPS afair, and it certainly didn't reach the hype I'd heard and read about it. It was fairly overrated. Still a great game, though; but the likes of Half Life 2 absolutely put it to shame as a testiment to linear FPS game design, so as FPS's go, HL2 is still at the top of the bar, and if anyone has any doubts, check out it's Metacritic score. I just wish Valve hadn't went down the episodic road, which turned out to be a massive failure. HL3 should have been made by now FFS.

 . I'm still on FM 2009, trying to build the "perfect" team ie win ALL games in all competitions in a single season, came close last season but a 3-3 at Arsenal fked it up . This season, game year 2024, transfer kitty was £140 million, also got a new stadium (named after me ) . :D

I only ever really played the demo versions of the Splinter Cells, but they always seemed like excellent games to me, and much better than the MGS serious. This new one does look amazing, though. Oh, and two player co-op goodness.

Yeah mate I think theres a lot less stealth and a lot more action in this one going by the reviews.Hes got mega nasty cause they killed his daughter, apparently you can torture the enemy to get info....it looks fantastic! and the co op sounds great! The MGS games became tedious to me...way too much sniping about trying to go undetected,i was never a big fan!

Deffo a must buy this latest Splinter Cell.....oh and Bioshock 2 is also out in Feb!! :buttrock

On the topic of games just thought I would say that FIFA 10 is the best football game out in years. Anyone who hasnt got it yet needs it, this year its miles ahead of Pro Evo.

All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road
