Beni' is a star. Obviously he knows who to speak to at Real Madrid. Great channel of communication to prevent gossip, only hope he can keep them in their place.

GERRARD DISMISSES MADRID RUMOURS

Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard has quickly moved to deny rumours of a possible move to join Michael Owen at Real Madrid and says he has told Rafael Benitez it is not true.
Gerrard says he is happy at Anfield under the new Benitez regime and added the rumours are just pure speculation.

Gerrard said: "There's nothing I can do about speculation. I spoke to the boss and told him it wasn't true. I've made it very clear I'm happy at Liverpool."
