the pre-season games so far haven't been impressive and it's about that time where we can make predictions for the coming season. Basically just state what you think regarding the following, just think it will be interesting to see what everyone thinks:

heres mine -
Ancelotti - if Chelsea haven't clicked in 10 games their fans will go all Newcastle and want him sacked
City - I reckon they're gonna have a bit of a stop start season and end up in the UEFA cup - 7th
Man U - they haven't won one for a while
Barca - Nobody came close to them last season and I expect them to pick up where they left off
Liverpool - I believe
Arsenal - the young'uns will finally produce the goods
Burnley, Pompey and Wolves - its hard to call but Pompey are doomed and I can't see two of the newly promoted teams staying up and Birmingham have the most experience in the PL of the three
Torres - sheer class
Man U, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool (not necessarily in that order) - nobody looks like breaking their dominance yet
and for the UEFA cup I'm gonna go for Aston Villa, Everton and City

First Premiership manager to get sacked will be the little Spanish fella at Wigan.
City will finsih fourth.
FA Cup winner will be us.
Champions League winners will be Barcelona.
Premier League Champions will be us hopefully, but if we don't win it I can't see anybody else stopping Man Utd.
Carling Cup winners will be West Ham.
Relegated off the top of my head will be Burnley, and whoever the other two who came up were, Birmingham and Wolves?
Top scorer in the Prem will be Steven Gerrard.
The top four will be Man Utd, Us, Chelsea and Man City.
The Uefa Cup places will be taken by Arsenal, Villa, Everton, Spurs, West Ham. And Hull will get in on the fairplay league thing.

I think arsenal could surprise alot of people this year , remember two seasons ago when henry left , they challenged for the title and if they didn't combust they would have won it

Amate of mine actually suggested the other day that he could see United finishing outside the top 4 which is absolutely ludicrous. Despite being significantly weaker than last season, they'll always be there or there abouts. As for us, I think if we can keep Gerrard and Torres fit, we're nailed on to be in the top 2 at least. Whether we go on and win it though is in the lap of the Gods. It's probably the most open season for ages.
Arsenal are still the most vulnerable of the top 4. Both City and Everton will push them hard for fourth. Infact the fact that City aren't in Europe may actually help them down the road. Spurs will underachieve as always and Villa will be mid-table this season imo.
First manager sacking will either be Hughes (if City have a poor start) or Megson at Bolton. How he's lasted this long is beyond me. Even his own fans want him out.
Hull, Birmingham and Pompey to go down. I can see Burnley doing a Stoke. They'll get enough points at home, mainly due to the intimidating atmosphere.
